Demolition
Number 2-4 Clarendon Road was previously a guesthouse but has been derelict for over a decade and neighbouring properties will be glad to see it removed. The process of removing the building took around a week to complete to take into account neighbouring properties.
The open space will be landscaped and provide some off street parking and some point in the future.
Another benefit of the demolition work is that the newly renovated apartments on West End Road can now been seen from Clarendon Road. The view from the new apartments is even better now that this eyesore has been demolished.
Brand New Designer Café for West End Gardens
The brand new café being built on the West End Gardens is under construction.
The design is very modern and makes full use of the beautiful views across the bay. The front and rear of the café will be window panels to take full advantage of the setting.
A toilet block is also being built alongside the café which is designed to complement the café.
